/poll
Creates and manages polls on Fluxer. If the channel is linked to an interserv group, the poll is relayed as Orax Polls to every linked channel.
Discord has no /poll command. Create polls with Discord’s native poll UI — they still sync and aggregate. See Polls.
Usage
/poll "<question>" "<option 1>" "<option 2>" [...] [--duration 1h] [--single]Example:
/poll "Best game?" "Chess" "Go" --duration 2hPermissions
| Action | Who |
|---|---|
| Create | Everyone |
| Vote | Everyone |
| Results | Everyone |
| End / cancel | Poll host, server Administrator, or group moderator |
Create fields
| Field | Required | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Question | Yes | Quoted if it contains spaces |
| Options | Yes | At least 2, at most 10 |
--duration / --time | No | 10m, 2h, 1d, or seconds. Min 10 seconds, max 30 days. Default 24h |
--single | No | One vote per user. Default is multiple answers |
Manage
/poll vote <id> <option number>
/poll results <id>
/poll end <id>
/poll cancel <id>Bare aliases also work: /vote, /results, /end, /cancel.
On Fluxer, the poll message includes a select menu. Pick an option to vote (or to remove that vote). With --single, choosing another option replaces the previous one.
Notes
- Polls work in any Fluxer channel. Linking the channel makes them sync across the group.
- When the poll ends, combined results are posted (including native Discord votes if the poll was relayed there).
- See Polls for how aggregation works.
