CommandsMute User

/mute-user-from-interserv-group

Mutes a user in the interserv group. The muted user’s messages will no longer be relayed to other servers, and their messages in other servers won’t appear in the current group’s channels.

Usage

/mute-user-from-interserv-group

Permissions

  • Moderator — The user must be a group moderator or have Manage Messages permission

What It Does

  1. Prompts you to provide either a message link or a user ID
  2. If a message link is provided, Orax looks up the original sender
  3. The user is added to the group’s mute list
  4. Future messages from this user will be blocked in all linked channels
  5. If a moderation log channel is configured, the mute is logged with an inline mute button

Input Methods

Their messages will no longer be synced.

Tracking Muted Users

Muted users are listed in the group’s mute list, which can be viewed and managed from:

  • The Orax Dashboard  → Group Settings → Muted Users
  • The /manage-group command

Unmuting

To remove a mute, use the /unmute-user-from-interserv-group command.

Muting is per-group — a user muted in one interserv group can still participate in other groups.
